Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1994 and her Master of Science in Counseling in 1998, both from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Michelle's credentials include a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Compulsive Gambling Counselor (CCGC).

Michelle has had many years experience working with adults and adolescents, as well as them as couples and/or families. Before joining Riggins & Associates in private practice in 2004, Michelle was a therapist with Options Counseling Center and Lutheran Family Services, both in Fremont. Michelle also did some part-time work with Therapy Resources Associates in Omaha.
